We've been building in the Greenville area since 2003, starting out as DG Fences, Decks and More. That business grew into DG Builders, and now includes the sister company of Crafted Decks and Porches.

Crafted Decks & Porches is based in Travelers Rest, which puts us right at the edge of the mountains, so we serve both Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina within about a 100 mile radius. That includes Greenville, Simpsonville, Fountain Inn, Easley, Spartanburg, Anderson, Landrum, Campobello, Boiling Springs, and the lake communities around Lake Keowee, Lake Jocassee, and Lake Hartwell, as well as Hendersonville and Asheville, North Carolina.

We keep pricing on your new deck, porch, or other outdoor living space straightforward from the start. A quick phone call connects you directly with one of our owners, who will ask about your project and give you a ballpark range based on our experience. If that lines up with your budget, we'll schedule an in-person consultation at your home to review your backyard and the deck or porch, along with other outdoor living features, you might want to add.

From there, simple outdoor living projects, which is most of our clients, get a free quote right after the consultation. Larger outdoor living projects move into pre-construction planning. This isn't just a quote, it's dedicated time from our team to make selections, coordinate trades, and build out a real plan so you know exactly what you're getting before construction starts.

Absolutely, staying in the loop on your project is a top priority for us. We use BuildBook, a simple project management app that works a lot like scrolling Facebook. You'll see your schedule and timeline plus daily logs with photos from our team, so whether you're in town or out of town, you always know what's happening.

For cost-plus projects, our bookkeeping team also sends updated budgets with receipts for every charge, weekly or biweekly depending on the project. We take that transparency seriously.
